Elie & Carol met on a random summer day in July of 2018. They bonded over Oreos & white Converses and exchanged Instagram accounts to keep in touch.

Over the years, their friendship evolved from Instagram story reactions, to exchanging memes, to hour-long WhatsApp calls. But they never saw each other again after that day.

Fast forward to January 12th 2022, Carol messaged Elie asking him how he's been. Just another conversation (or so she thought). But they spoke for hours and hours that day, and every day after that, until their friendship grew into romance. They dated in long-distance for a year and a half, until the UAE brought them together on December 8th, 2023.

Today, we celebrate Elie & Carol. Two souls coming together as one, proving that true love will find its way across time and distance.
